Support your own passion by giving to the people, places and programs that you love most at Lake Ridge Academy. Consider a gift that is meaningful to you that will also make a difference for your favorite part of the school. If you like, your gift can also be offered to the school in a way that will honor a former teacher or someone in your family who is special to you.

Honor Someone

• Honor a teacher with a gift in the teacher’s name that is designated to a division, subject, or Center of Excellence. Endowed funds can be created and named to honor a teacher and used to benefit a subject area or Center of Excellence (minimum gift level required). Endowed funds provide yearly support in perpetuity to the purpose selected by the donor.

• Congratulate your senior by making a special gift to the school to an area that is meaningful to your child.

• Remember a loved one with a memorial gift. Annual Fund gifts can be made in honor of or in memory of someone.

• Transform a student's life by giving to scholarships. Annual Fund gifts may be designated to scholarships and are awarded to students in the year that the gifts are made. Gifts of $10,000 or more that are directed to the Public Service Scholarship Program for three or more years will provide a significant scholarship to entering students in grades 9-11 who are children of police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and military personnel. Endowed scholarships can be created with larger gifts and permanently named for someone special to you. Some preferences for scholarship awards are acceptable, such as directing support to entering students with the highest level of financial need.

Support Our Campus

• Enhance a laboratory by making a gift to the Annual Fund designated to laboratories or make a larger gift to create an endowed fund that will provide laboratory equipment in perpetuity (minimum gift level required).

• Preserve our campus by making a gift to the Annual Fund designated to our outdoor education program, landscaping, facilities or gardens.

• Maintain a building by making a special gift to replace a roof, refresh carpeting, update windows, or upgrade technology within the building. Naming opportunities for the Community Resource Center, Lower School, Middle School and Fine Arts Building are available and provide immediate and permanent funding to maintain the desired facility.

Enhance Our Education

• Sustain excellence by making a gift to the Annual Fund designated to one or all three Centers of Excellence. Your gift will help to sustain our unqiue K-12 programs that help develop skills for our students to succeed in college and life..

• Expand opportunities for students through a combination gift to the Annual Fund and a larger gift to endowment that sustains an academic initiative such as our outdoor education program, world language program, or technology.

• Distinguish our school by making an Annual Fund gift to any of our signature programs such as the Centers of Excellence, Diversity Forum, Mock Trial, or STEAM curriculum.

• Inspire innovation by supporting independent student learning through our graduation certificate programs in engineering, fine arts, global citizenship, or scientific research.
